Hmm…I really don’t know what to say about myself…let’s see:

My name? Well it’s Kelly. :3

Why kelakagandy? Well, when I was in middle school, my friends and I were MAJOR Lord of the Rings nerds, and some of said friends started writing a screenplay (a seriously wacked out one) version of the series staring, of course, us (yes, it was a terrible idea, we all admit it now). At the time they called me Kel sometimes to iritate me, because they knew I hated it. Since I was supposed to be Gandalf in said updated version of LotR, they gave me an ultimatum one day when I got pissy: Kel or Gandy (Needless to say, I chose Kel). A few weeks later I was sitting in front of the computer trying to think of a screen name for AIM, and the only thing I could think of was kelakagandy, and it just stuck. You might recognize it from Gaia, LJ, MAL, here, and anywhere else you’ve encountered a kelakagandy; it’s not a common screen name after all though sometimes I use spaces or underscores (kel aka gandy/kel_aka_gandy).

I almost always finish my sentences online with an emoticon/smiley. xD  <=case in point

I live in a northern/border state in the US. Depends on if I’m at college or not…technically, school is in the north and home is a border state. :3 This of course going by Civil War state definitions. xD

I’m a second year college student in Indiana (not IU though).

I love manga/anime (though manga moreso). I have about 200+ manga, but only about 15 anime DVDs, most of which I won from Funimation in the findmokona.com contest (yes, I won that!). I really prefer to buy manga, since it’s cheaper and I’ve always preferred reading. : D

I also adore light novels and, so expect to see lots of light novels reviews here as well.

My friends are probably going to laugh their asses off when they hear about this.

I love Arina Tanemura’s manga, so expect a lot of Arina Tanemura info/reviews here. :] Other manga-ka favorites are CLAMP, Natsumi Matsumoto, Peach-Pit, Ai Yazawa, and Kiyoko Arai.
